For those looking to shop, we recommend an afternoon in Port Carling to take in “the strip” with a mix of home decor, clothing, sportswear and antique stores. Some favourites include Seasonal Resident, Poppy’s, Bettencourt Manor and Barnboarded Antiques.
-
Take your pick of activities in Muskoka! There are multiple Golf Courses in the area and hiking trails ( Huckleberry Rock Cut Lookout is a beginner-friendly trail favourite). And if you’re looking for more of an adrenaline rush, there’s no shortage of waterskiing, boating, kayaking and more in the area. We’d be happy to point you in the right direction- just send us a note!

We would be doing Muskoka a disservice if we didn’t mention the historic Kee to Bala music venue (affectionatly known as “The Kee” to locals). If your schedule allows it, we highly recommend checking the lineup and catching a show.
And every Tuesday in Bala, there’s a free waterskiing show put on by our friends ( and family) at SWS.
